Stumptown # 2?

I'm a little confused on Dex's sexual orientation. OOH, she didn't have the "ewww" reaction when the drug cartel leader's daughter made a pass at her. Then again, Dex could have been a) startled or b) not wanting to show weakness around some dangerous people. OTOH, she did flirt with the male doctor treating her this issue. So is Dex straight, lesbian, or bi?

Whatever sexual orientation that she may be, I think that she is great character who we are still finding out about. I do not think that she is a lesbian. She seemed to be pretty happy with the doctor helping fix her up after she was shot. I most cases, I think she would play the role of any sexual orientation if it would help her solve a case. It will be nice to see how this all plays out in the end.

Comicsdom is not exactly overflowing with tons of LGBTIQ characters, so every good new LGBTIQ character that comes along is always welcome. Besides, asking about Dex's sexual orientation in this context is on the level of asking for clarification of a plot point...if ol' Greg feels like showing his cards at this moment.

True, every LBGT character in comics increases visibility and that's good, but still, it would be nice to get to a place where sexuality doesn't matter anymore. I wasn't slamming anyone. Just pointing out that Dex herself said she was unsure. And not everyone Greg writes about is gay. That being said, hey, I'd love it if Dex were batting for my team...
