While this back & forth on the age of the sun (and thus Earth) is interesting, I find it amusing that no one has bothered to notice that we have a recent instance on the GL title of someone de-aging a star.

Just because we just found out about the Blue Light doesn't mean it wasn't available a few billion years ago. Between that & the Zeta Beam Planet Transport (tm) we've already got a plausible for comics) explanation as to how Earth could have fostered the first life in the universe.

Heck, you can even throw in some Grant Morrison from Seven Soldiers. Ystina's camelot is from much, much farther back in time than Sir Justin's and apparently the universe "resets" every once in a while.

Whether or not this all breaks your limit of Suspension of Disbelief or not is a personal thing, but the elements are all there. Geoff didn't just pull this from his nether regions.

Do I have to drive to your house, break in during the night, wake you from your sleep and spell this out this word by word?

THERE. ARE. HORNETS. IN. MY. HEAD. AND. THEY. GET. MAD. BECAUSE. GERMAN. COMES. FROM. OUTER. SPACE.

What language do the hornets speak? I think they might also be from outer space.

actually the German language was handed down to humanity from outspace hornets.

It's all starting to make sense now.

Really though thrillo...it's only comics...you should try not to let it bother you.

They don't speak; you wouldn't bother speaking either if you had a sting. But they let me know when they're not happy and I have to mask my thoughts to make them go to sleep.

I wonder if the Red Bee ever had problems like this.

Somebody else on this board watches QI? Wow. That's an odd thing to discover in the middle of a totally unrelated conversation.
