I really hope he somehow regains his intellect - he survived worse when he teamed up with Chemo against the Metal Men and Superman.

I just have to say, I was so dismayed with Cry for Justice, I was certain I was oging to just drop everything JLA- and GA-related for at least a year. But thank goodness I flipped through this issue; J.T. Krul definitely has a handle on what it means to be a multi-dimensional character. Can't wait to see where he takes this.

Not to happy about that idea. I hope Prometheus is dead. I really don't care for him, or most anti-Batman villains. Motivation is too mustache twirling for my taste. It would diminish the impact if it was another fake who dies.

before... GA/BC and all related story about them seem to be free competition... now with recent announcement from Marvel about ongoing Hawkeye/Mocking bird serial making this seem more hot issue. more rivally if i can say.

i hope DC isn't play easy with GA/BC... aside from grim path that Ollie take after C4J... i really want to see what used to be GA trandmark, which are trick arrow, arrow mobile (huh? yeah arrow mobile! what's wrong with that... lol! haha), and all other classic GA... i meant a try-out to make Ollie darker or more suitable with modern culture doesn't meant to take-out his trandmark (or used to be)... which somehow i feel lost in recent years.

just for my own curiousity, i want to ask u guys... do u really want to see:
1) Ollie as "light" superhero, fight injustice side by side with JLA or dinah or Hal and Barry, etc, or
2) Ollie as somekind modern robin hood, haunt criminal from underground with secret community/organisation of his own?

Just finished it and honestly I like JT as a writer, but could have cared less about this book.

Number 2. I would buy Green Arrow ASAP if it was #2 or at least back to the way it was when Grell was writing it.

This. I wasn't going to read it but everyone here was praising it. I also found the line by Dick "Was he not ready to take on the task of Red Arrow?" to be EXTREMELY akward and weird. How was being Red Arrow and worse than being Arsenal and working for the government? In fact, while being Red Arrow, Roy didn't really have to do much (they had three minor threats and a cave-in while he was in the JLA...)

I'm disgusted by it. Nobody does meaningless death like DC. And a child no less.

I bought it and I was hoping to be hooked. It was fair but nothing really to go crazy over.

I know I'm in the far minority on this, but I'm absolutely loving what has transpired in CFJ #7 and this special. It's great conflict and has great character interaction. The dynamic in the friend triangle of Ollie-Hal-Barry is awesome. Ollie and Barry are about to go head to head with Hal caught in the moral middle.

I'm incredibly impressed with JT Krul's grasp on all the players involved. For the first time in my life I'll be a regular Green Arrow buyer. Chalk one up to senseless violence and mutilation!
